FUCCI is a Finnish-Canadian artist that lives and works out of his studio in Toronto, Canada. He creates vibrant post-pop paintings in a ligne claire style (clear, unbroken lines). I might go as far to say that he reminds me of Matisse.

His work is ranges from mischievous and amusing sexual imagery, to vibrant and minimalist color palettes. FUCCI paints thought provoking works that touch upon perversion with wit and unexpected sophistication. These visual explorations bring to mind the works of Parra– so I’m definitely looking forward to FUCCI fashion in the future. Keep an eye out for the next exhibit; his work has been shown in North America and Europe.
